GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY
KINDNESS HAS NO BOUNDARIES
Students from TAMSA Kairuki recently spent a meaningful day at the Upanga Juvenile Correction Center, engaging with young people through health education sessions, open discussions, and mentorship activities aimed at inspiring positive growth and transformation.
The Upanga Juvenile Correction Center is a government-run facility that supports children aged 13–18 years who are in conflict with the law. The center provides temporary custody, rehabilitation, care, basic education, recreational activities, and protection for minors while their legal cases are being handled. Its core mission is to guide and prepare these young individuals for successful reintegration into society.
During the visit, TAMSA Kairuki students had the opportunity to interact with the children, share knowledge, listen to their experiences, and offer encouragement and support. The team also donated essential items as a gesture of hope, compassion, and solidarity, reflecting the association’s motto: Committed to Serve.
