The Tanzania Medical Students’ Association (TAMSA) successfully hosted the 9th TAMSA Leadership Seminar from 13th to 15th February 2026 in Dodoma, Tanzania, under the theme “Beyond the White Coat: Cultivating Visionary Leaders in Medicine.” Hosted by the TAMSA UDOM CHAPTER, the seminar brought together medical students, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders from across the country for three days of leadership development, inspiration, and collaboration
National Participation
Delegates attended from various medical schools across Tanzania, including MUHAS, UDOM, KCMC, KIUT, Kairuki University, SUZA, UDSM, SFUCHAS, and St. Joseph University College of Health Sciences. Their presence highlighted TAMSA’s spirit of unity and shared purpose among medical students nationwide.

The Guest of Honor was represented by the Dean of the School of Medicine and Dentistry, UDOM, who also delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the importance of leadership among future healthcare professionals

Participants concluded the experience with a memorable visit to Kondoa Irangi and the famous rock painting sites, blending leadership engagement with cultural exploration.
