The Health Innovation Summit (HIS) Tanzania is a platform dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovation, technology, research, entrepreneurship, and collaboration. Organized under the Tanzania Medical Students Association (TAMSA), in collaboration with relevant academic and healthcare stakeholders, the summit brings together medical students, healthcare professionals, researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and industry partners to explore innovative solutions to pressing healthcare challenges.

Held in Zanzibar, the summit provides an opportunity to showcase emerging health technologies, exchange knowledge, present research, and develop practical solutions that improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes. Key areas of focus include digital health, artificial intelligence, medical devices, maternal and child health, public health, health informatics, and medical entrepreneurship.

Through innovation showcases, presentations, networking, and collaborative discussions, HIS seeks to empower the next generation of healthcare innovators, strengthen partnerships across disciplines, and bridge the gap between innovative ideas and their real-world application.
