TAMSA St Joseph College of Health and Allied Science (Tamsa Sjchas)

THIS WAS A MEDICAL OUTREACH ACCOMPANIED WITH BLOOD DONATION HELD ON 27TH JAN 2024 in collaboration with St Joseph mbweni hospital done at Boko- dovya street where about 100 people were reached and screened for non communicable diseases such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension; people were also tested of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, calculated of their BMI, counselled of appropriate lifestyle for them

Also the honourable people of boko dovya donated their blood under the organization by St Joseph Mbweni hospital, of which about 40 people donated their blood. This went hand in hand with measuring blood groups of people, hb levels, as well as walking around Boko-dovya street spreading awareness about health

All these were done and implemented with a goal of promoting the health of the population as well as creating awareness and put into practicality our knowledge about health

The event was very impactful as it highly raised awareness about health to the community as well as aided early detection of diseases, with provision of appropriate advice and directions as well as it yielded blood bank that was donated which helped to serve the lives of other patients
